Order in the project, before the equipment is built.

Most problems in a production do not arise on the day of the event. They arise weeks earlier, when nobody owns the interfaces between the trades. That is where we come in.

Technical consulting and project management from Bonn

We are the interface between client, production, technology and content. Instead of just supplying equipment, we clarify in advance what the format actually needs, which trades meet when, and who decides in case of doubt.

That ranges from the technical concept for an event, through the coordination of audio, lighting, video and staging, to the fit-out of permanent rooms, for example a hybrid meeting room or a small streaming studio.

For delivery we draw on an established network of event technology companies, freelancers and specialist suppliers in the Rhineland. That lets us scale each project to the right size, without leaving you to call five different contacts.

Where we make the difference

Technical concept

We translate your editorial idea into a workable technical concept: setup, signal paths, room and time planning, requirements for power, network and delivery access. In writing, and in a form every trade can work from.

Project management and trade coordination

One point of contact for everyone involved. We run the coordination, track deadlines, spot conflicts between trades early and resolve them before they become visible on the day.

Event technology on location

Audio, lighting, video and staging, planned and supervised by someone who has stood at the desk. On request we take on technical management during the event.

Studios and permanent rooms

Hybrid meeting rooms, training rooms and small streaming studios. We plan the fit-out so it stays operable without technical staff, because only what works day to day actually gets used.

Typical assignments

  • Technical concept and specification for tenders
  • Review and assessment of incoming technical quotes
  • Feasibility study and site visit
  • Running order, interface list and responsibility matrix
  • Technical management during build-up and event
  • Planning and commissioning of permanent media technology in rooms
  • Briefing your team, so the equipment stays operable without us

How a collaboration starts

  1. Step 01: Taking stock

What is planned, what is already decided, where is it stuck? Often one conversation is enough to name the actual bottleneck.

  2. Step 02: Concept and recommendation

You receive a technical concept with a clear recommendation, including the options we discarded and the reasons why.

  3. Step 03: Coordination

We obtain quotes, compare them on substance rather than price alone, and bring the trades together.

  4. Step 04: Delivery and handover

Support during build-up and execution, then documentation and briefing. For permanent installations we stay available for adjustments.

Frequently asked questions about media technology consulting

Is consulting worth it if we already have a technical supplier?

Especially then. A technical supplier is responsible for its own trade, not for how the trades work together. We represent your perspective, make quotes comparable and make sure nothing falls between two areas of responsibility.

Are you independent of manufacturers?

Yes. We do not sell equipment and receive no commission from manufacturers. Our recommendation follows what your format and your budget will carry.

Do you deliver as well, or only plan?

Both are possible. Many clients start with the planning and then commission us for technical management on site, because at that point nobody has to explain the concept again.

Do you work outside Bonn?

Our focus is Bonn, Cologne and the Rhineland, and we travel across Germany for projects of the right scale. The planning phase largely runs remotely in any case.

Is your project becoming hard to oversee?

A first conversation costs nothing and usually brings structure to the question.
